Leftist shill. The only difference between fascism and communism is the propaganda

NullifyAndSecede 33 points ago +41 / -8

OP's logic is flawed. But in keeping with his flawed logic...

The people destroying and subverting our country hate individualism above all else.

Collectivism is a cancer, regardless of the flavor.

No, I just don't think the abstract concept of a family is more important than the quality of its actual individual members.

1
jomten 1 point ago +1 / -0

Collectivist in a way yes, I don't want to completely disregard your view, but collectivist isnt the right word IMO.

Tribalist might be a better word, because collectivism implies EVERYONE being a part of the group, usually by exterminating anyone not willing to join.

Tribalism is actually closer to what the founders intended, keeping groups small and no entangling alliances, "Tribes" can collaborate and work together but should not be able to exert force on each other except in the most universally accepted situations. Thou shalt not kill, steal, rape etc

Family isn't an example of collectivism. Collectivism is an ideology where the collective is more important than the individual. Is the abstract idea of a family more important to you than your family members themselves?

Go away your just communist by another name. Falling for a different propaganda that tells you what you want to hear.

Pathetic.

2
randomusers239874 2 points ago +5 / -3

They didn't though, except in war time. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's recorded history. The Nazis even ended trade unions.

1
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 1 point ago +4 / -3

Sure they did. How do you think they managed to build a war machine than blitzed through Europe in only a few years? Hitler got the support of business owners by painting the Nazis as a preferable alternative to the communists and allowing them to keep ownership of their businesses, but the Nazi government exercised de facto control over the means of production as soon as Hitler was appointed as Chancellor. Look up the 1933 Act for the Formation of Compulsory Cartels.

2
randomusers239874 2 points ago +4 / -2

That act was about regulating already existing cartels. The pre-war economy actually looked quite similar to the US economy right now, which had private businesses with regulation. Yeah it's Wikipedia, but the article on the pre-war economy is pretty good https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Nazi_Germany#Privatization_and_business_ties. Privatization was a priority, but so was economic protectionism, and there was a balance between the free market and state interests. This is how every country is run, including the US right now.

crazyjackel 19 points ago +22 / -3

The definition of Fascism that I operate with is "All within the state. Nothing outside the state. Nothing against the state"

I am very much for a limited State and rugged individual display of natural rights. Fascism is a no for me.

7
PraiseBeToScience 7 points ago +8 / -1

We had a limited state and rugged individual rights.

200 years later it collapsed due to the takeover if statists, degenerates, and communists.

Why would it be any different a second time around? "I just want to be left alone" really just means "I will do nothing to oppose your takeover".

Look at how many faggot boomers did literally nothing when Reagan stomped gun rights. And they're such faggots that decades later they still talk about him fondly.

-1
randomusers239874 -1 points ago +5 / -6

No, that's a misunderstanding of the philosophy. It actually forces business to support the stats FOR the peoples benefit. It's anticapitalist in the sense that businesses aren't allowed to exploit workers or resources, which is enforced by the state, but is otherwise a free market. This was of course before things like labor laws and such, which are technically "fascist" laws.

that_sound 2 points ago +2 / -0

But why? If the mods deleted it once, they'll likely delete it again. Besides, any point that you're trying to make is overshadowed by the insult. Almost no one will hear anything but the insult.

You made a post to make a point. It was kind of low energy meh, but whatever. You got a little bit of pushback and you crapped all over your own thread with insults. That's not a good way to win people over to your thinking.

It's not very often these days that anyone gets a chance to say this, but you make fascism look bad.

-2

It's deleted.

You make some points here that might be worth discussing, but you're just such an insufferable cunt. (See what I did there? See how it you just forgot the first part of the sentence? That's what you did all over this thread.)

"People do not respond to reasoned discourse. They need to be ridiculed." No, you're wrong. And as I try to frame an argument to convince you, I realize you won't listen so maybe you're right - fuck it. How you see the outside is to some extent a reflection of how you see yourself. It's true that many people (maybe you) don't respond to reasoned discourse, but some people do. Sometimes. But they won't ever if you are rude. Well, maybe you can be rude, but direct insults just puts a wall up. If you want to change people's minds you have to persuade them or at least make them curious. You are really bad at that. Here in this thread anyways. Phenomenally bad.

Even your points aren't that good - "puppet state" is a bit of an overstatement (at least right now), the US is still the most powerful empire (at least measured militarily), it has projected power in last decades, the US is being sucked dry most directly by a parasitic class (not the world at large)... And tho it would be good to discuss Chinese influence, and the loss of US influence and power, and how we are being sucked dry, there's no point trying to discuss any of of it with you because "any person who believes" that" is an irredeemable moron who will never understand blah blah blah - bored now.

And you've mentioned some authors (or something I dunno) who might be really smart and interesting and I might have done a websearch for if I was curious, but you made me uncurious.

No persuasion. No discussion. So no further thought on my end. And that's all on you and your insults. And maybe the worst part is, they aren't even good insults. You make fascism look bad.

0
deleted 0 points ago +1 / -1
1
that_sound 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well it's either that, or you're not bright enough to see my point. And as the insults are your basic message and you don't have much beyond that, I'm leaning towards the latter.

Either way, don't think too much about it. Your perspectives are clearly either too shallow or too fragile to discuss.

1

ITT: Everybody arguing over semantics...wanting to clutch pearls about fascism in the same way people want to ban "assault weapons"...because 'fascism' looks and sounds scary.

My advice: ditch that language and just outline the principles you are espousing.

0
d_bokk 0 points ago +5 / -5

My advice, you aren't as smart as you think you are. There's nothing more effeminate than, following a loss, to squeal "ALL IS LOST! WE MUST CHANGE EVERYTHING!" because you're sad. You aren't talking about a difference in opinion, but a difference in a system of governance.

Do you know better than George Washington? James Madison? Thomas Paine? Patrick Henry? Of course you don't, you're a some loser on the internet who thinks being edgy makes you unique and intelligent. It doesn't, you're a collectivist. If anything, your ideology has more in common with King George.

3
Buildtheadytum 3 points ago +3 / -0

I haven't offered my ideology. My comments are on the conditioning around the word "fascism". You're willing to lash out at your compatriots, calling them losers, for simply discussing ideas.

If you're actually interested, I will state for the record that I believe that the U.S. Constitution is the greatest instrument of governance ever conceived of by man, clearly inspired by God. And George Washington is my most admired historical figure.

1
d_bokk 1 point ago +2 / -1

They're talking about the complete and utter dismantling of our constitutional republic. They aren't my compatriots, they have more in common with communists than you do with me.

1
ZoomerCrusader 1 point ago +3 / -2

The founding fathers themselves realized that we will all hang together or hang separately. A bundle of sticks is stronger than the individual sticks on their own. Communism is the abuse of the upper class by the lower. Capitalism is the abuse of the lower class by the upper. Fascism is the unification of both classes to work together to fight external threats. The laborer is worth nothing without the architect and the architect is worth nothing without the laborer.

Lol fuck off, the 1930's failed massively. They were anti-traditionalist, anti-clericalist and Anti-Christian modernists largely. Keynesians too, intact much of it was based on confused economics the idea that industry was so efficient demand would be fully satisfied and there would be too few jobs to be had, thus the government needed to step in. That isn't what happened, though they were right about Jobs offshoring to Asia.

A single despot has never provided good stable rule for a long period of time historically.

6
Herpawinski 6 points ago +6 / -0

HA! Good one. But 1) the truth is they don't hate fascism. They are outright fascists. They use violence, media and social coercion to instill socialism. That's actual fascism. 2) they play the game of dual definitions. They use their own definition of fascism knowing the general public has a different understanding (thanks to them in the first place). Their definition of "fascist" expressly includes the bourgeoise, the class of people who are economically and intellectually independent. Non communist intellectuals, academics and artists. Professional classes. Retailers who own their own shops, no matter how small. Own and operate your own shitty little taco truck? Congratulations, you're a fascist.

Nah sorry, the expansion into the neighboring countries was planned long before the first battle. The war economy started producing tanks and armament long before the first shot was fired, at levels not needed for a simple standing army. He also wrote about the need for German imperialism, and lamented the fact that Germany had become a "Slav" state in Mein Kampf. He was a German nationalist through and through, which did cause him to be a race traitor.

Look man, you and I are on the same page on a lot of things, but Hitler was an imperialist. It's a matter of historical fact, and that attitude was common at the time. He was not perfect, so stop trying to defend all of his actions. He was a race traitor and killed more whites than any other group of people for his personal ethnic group. Hell, that's why my grandfather fought in WW2, the Germans kicked him of his land to make room for German citizens. We can accept the tenants of the underlying philosophy without accepting the implementation of it.

Facism and communism both end in state run means of production.

The only difference is facism co ops and intimidates industry through threats and coercion, whereas Communism takes it over outright.

Either way it becomes inefficient and prone to corruption, as anything government controlled does. every beaurocrat along the way has to take his "piece"/

..or you understand that Fascism is Marxism the same way Communism is Marxism. Then you understand that Marxist have one agenda, Deconstruction, ie. break it all down and destroy it all. So the best way to do that is to create two sides that you own, and get people on either side and let them kill each other. But that would mean actually knowing what Marx taught, what his teacher Hegel taught about the Dialetic, and what his acolytes did for the last 100 years. But no, lets do the same thing the Democrats do and destroy our nation and our understanding of reality because we are idiots.

Hegel taught Marx. Marx taught Marxism. Communism and Fascism grew out of Marxism. The Nazis were National Socialists, the Communists hated the Fascists because they were the different side of the same coin. They only hated them because one of them wants to rule the other! I knew that in High School while D'Souza was becoming an American Citizen. Do you know by the way how D'Souza figured out the same thing I did? He lived in India, where Marxism is the sad way of life, and he worked for Ronald Reagan, who fought Marxism.

3
WhiteTrashJesus 3 points ago +3 / -0

There is a point but fascism isn't what the USA is meant to be as much as a last resort imo. Like from what I understand an example of fascism would be if Donald had mandated Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts for every child, and had them al learn American values, having a public dress code and arresting people for being communist sympathisers. Would it work? Yes. Does it depend on the belief system of the people running it? Yes. Is it constitutional? Probably not. Ideally we could MAGA without taking away people's freedoms, but when you have so much subversion fascism seems like a better option than the alternative. And no the Nazi's murder of various groups of people was not part of fascism, that was out of control. The invading of other countries was, however.

It pisses me off when Donald is called a fascist because he purposely wasn't one, and that's why he wasn't able to MAGA. Sometimes you think if he was a little more everyone would thank him for it.

They say they hate it, but they love it. As long as it is their policies being put upon people by the state. That is why they are so happy woke cultural, presently in the form of intersectionality, is making its way through the institutions; both governmental and societal.

Oswald Mosley was an honorable man with good intentions. He seemed to have wanted the best for the British people and he courageously named the financial elite in Britain and New York as the true enemy of the people even though doing so would destroy him in the end. He was the Donald Trump of his time and he paid dearly for it. I have no idea if or how a Fascist system would work in America and I doubt we will ever have to worry about it anyways.

Or, you know, they're fucking retards that don't actually know what "fascist" means.

The people destroying our country are fascists. Mussolini, the creator of the word, saw fascism as a cooperation between big business and government to control all production and all media and to stamp out resistance to centralized ownership and messaging. We are there now.

Everything within the state, nothing against the state, nothing outside the state? Miss me with that bullshit. There's nothing patriotic or American about fascism. It's a pejorative used by marxists in an attempt to recurve people into thinking that limited government is somehow oppressive. Deport this shit.

Are you saying we need to look to, and emulate, authoritarian fascistic governmental interventions to stop the authoritarian fascistic commie retards because the authoritarian fascistic commie retards on the Left are being authoritative fascistic commie retards?

Like, we should try to utilize the US government that is now almost completely control by these same authoritative fascistic commie retards?

What the fuck are you trying to say here?

Because it comes off as a fake call to action that the authoritative fascistic commie retards would make to then point the finger at us and proclaim, “lOokS! SeE tHeY aRe fAsCiStS!”

The people destroying and subverting our country wouldn't know fascism if they looked in a mirror; they are the closest thing to fascism in our country.

Look, I am going to give you one advice: just write a second post explaining how fascism works and make up another word for it without the negative connotations.

My grandfather was a survivor of the Holocaust and I can never support fascism. I will however support things that are inline with the constitution and are effective. I want to hear what you want to say. Give me your own damn definition in another post and we can go from there on a meaningful conversation instead of buzzword soup.

I believe that we are in a Weimar state of the republic. Dr Michael Burry has reported on this and posted up a recession timeline. As an economist, he is typically someone I trust to make good predictions on massive macro events. In this case, the prediction being hyper inflation finishing its gestation period and manifesting, slow at first, but accelerating as it comes. It is innate to the markets which congress, the president, and the federal reserve have no real power over.

There is going to be a power vacuum, no matter what as millions lose their jobs. People will be loathe to return to the system as it was. I, typically would advocate more for a libertarian position at that time, pointing to the actions of the federal reserve and congress in making the crisis even worse. But I want to know about what other positions would advocate for in such a power vacuum. I am pretty familiar with the neo-socialist position, which will collapse into total state control of production if they so succeed in convincing a desperate public. I want to be aware of the neo-fascist position that you are advocating for and how it is different from the neo-socialists, except with the allowance of private property.

No two people seem to have the same definition of fascism, but most agree it is totalitarian. I dont care a lot about what things are called. I'd support The Poopie Diaper party/ideology as long as it meant a nationalistic, constitutional republican democracy. But calling yourself fascist is inviting the ire of all who love liberty.

Associating with fascism is a) retarded because fascism is retarded and b) a complete non-starter in America.

No, thanks.

"FaScIsM HaZ EvOlVeD!" Lol I guess the dumbshits that fall for it haven't though. I'd rather the whole world get nuked than let commies or fascists win. Could you imagine people like this fucking nerd in charge of the economy? I'd suicide bomb his ass so hard.

Part of the symbology of the United States is the Roman fasces, a bundle of sticks signifying unity and power through mutual support.

"Join or die" as Franklin famously put it.

Is it still fascism if it’s “democratic fascism”?

Fascism is what happens when communists take over. Projection is what these people do. What they hate is always what they’re doing themselves.

Fascist is Marxism for the country not the world. Fuck you leftist.

Evolved would mean that fascist god other and talked about their philosophy. And then it would change to what they started agreeing on and what got popular. That’s not what happened . Leftists started using the difference between fascism and communism to try to hide the fact that ALL LEFTISM /MARXISM WAS A DELEGITIMIZED by trying to make Marxism different than fascism they to legitimacy to Marxism by denigrating Fascism ( because WW2 made sure the world knew that Marxism had failed) instead people who didn’t know what fascism was started hearing the leftist Try to require history and believed them. I’m sorry but your definition of Fascism is what George Washington and Thomas Jefferson believed. That’s not what Fascism is
