I think as people mature and they start seeing the flaws in Democratic Republics they are more open to Fascism. You are 100% correct in the idea that the family, not the individual should be the primary unit in society. It also helps if the society in question has a common culture, religion, ethnic makeup and history. Look at Japan for an example of a society that would excel under a fascist government. It will never work in America and to make it work would be very bloody.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I don’t think people will be motivated to act until it is too late. I don’t think you’re an anti-America asshat for questioning which system would better serve the American people either, because I have spent years thinking about that as well. The reason I jumped on the Trump train was because I thought he was the last hope for America and the system worked from day one to destroy him.

I’m not trying to be a doomer, but I think Americans are going to have to suffer through much more before they are motivated to change things at the level they need to be changed.
