I must have missed my privilege. I worked for everything I have through retirement. A privilege is something given that is not earned. You know, like welfare, food stamps, housing, jobs and college acceptance through Affirmative Action. Those are all privileges.
That’s what the laughing point is. Aren’t you supposed to work hard for what you want in life. Nothing is given to you unless your born with a silver spoon in your mouth. But these ppl say oh your white your privileged. Uhhh nope. Sorry I was a chick that got pregnant her senior year that dropped out and got a GED. Single mom raised a child thankfully had help from family. Went to work making minimum wage $5.75 at the time. Learned a damn good trade. Thanks to that trade with hard work, I now own my own business. Called working hard no means privileged!!
You go, girl! Raised my 2 sons alone from ages 8 & 9. Have a clear conscience because I did not mooch off of others just because I decided to have 2 children & divorce. My life choices are my responsibility. Period.
