This is just dumbass excuse-making.

We get snow that "sticks" here (for a few days) in Western Washington about once a year. Yet drive through any parking lot and you see a shitload of Trucks, SUVs, Crossovers and other vehicles with AWD/4WD. Why? Because people know better.

If Texans don't have generators, batteries charged, firewood, etc, I don't know what to tell you other than you suck ass even compared to a BLUE STATE where people KNOW you can't trust the authorities to run to your rescue every time something goes wrong.

Imagine being a Texan and trusting government 100% just because it's mostly Republicans.

Imagine being so ignorant of Texans and still opening your mouth trying to speak for them. Nobody is like that here. 99% were fine but that doesn't excuse the government.

Yes, yes it actually does genius. Any time a storm is coming here, we have lines out the ASS at gas stations, generators fly off the shelves, etc. "99%" of Texans didn't do that shit at all, they just ASSUMED they would be perfectly OK. And that was WRONG

Wrong. If that were true, Texas would not be operational, hundreds or more would have died, and the rest would be starving. Instead, we had a small portion of the population without power. 29 million total population with 1.4 million losing power (4.8% of people). On top of that, a fraction of those actually had serious damages along with power outages. 30 dead (0.000001%) and probably only thousands had pipes burst and/or are without water. Thankfully, Texans aren't stuck up faggots like you Washington freaks are so neighbors share and help one another. So, no, you're wrong. Quit being a faggot bitch government apologist. Texans were fine, dumbass. It's not rocket science. Question my 99% again retard.

You don't starve after 3 days you stupid ass. And hospitals in EVERY STATE are required to have backup power systems, and even if they didnt, that's the first place where power gets restored.

The issue isn't people being weary, it's people placing blame on government entities instead of being self sufficient because "it never snows here, I'm sure we'll be fine". You weren't fine, you were MUCH LESS than fine....unlike me on a snow day where I hop in my AWD and head to work. And where my pipes were weatherproofed when the place I live in was built decades ago. Genius.
