Anyone got these a link to these docs? I don't trust shit anyone on twitter says without reading the source first.

it's all in lawyer/politician speak, seems to be accurate though, they didn't say "yeah , do what you need" more like "no follow our stupid rules and pay fines if you don't". FUCK the DOE and FUCK ERCOT for following their masters like good little cucks they are, hope they enjoy their rewards, and hope I never meet any of them, I'd give them a piece of my mind as publicly as possible, following Mad Maxine's example - push back on them and make sure they don't feel welcome.

Im reading it as yes, you can generate power IF you charge no lower than $1,500 /MWH. Normal prices are usually $20-$40 /MWH. Basically gouging consumers. Then ECROT has to report all this extra money to the DOE by March 1st, most likely to help determine how much they can fine them. These people are fucking sick.

What I don't understand if certain states and cities can ignore federal law/authority with "sanctuary citites" why in the hell, in any other situation, would other states simply follow federal authority?

Basically, the entire concept of "sancturary citites" and the people that have them undermine the relationship and power balance between all states and the federal government.

It is for this reason, places like Missouri should indeed say "Fuck your unconstitutional gun laws, we're not enforcing them" -- sancturary cities and states for 2A was at first a joke or a meme but if you follow through this to its end logical conclusion...

Texas was playing along due to the virtue signaling with a minimal "yeah yeah ok we'll play tour stupid game". There is Federal funding attached to it, so I'm sure some politician made a boatload of money for playing along. Its really really rare that weather this severe makes it all the way to us, so they probably thought it couldn't hurt. Problem is - once you shut down oil/gas plants, you can't just go turn them back on. There are a LOT of safety and maintenance issues that need to be addressed. It was a gamble they took and it blew up in their face. Probably just in time to stack on the argument for secession.
