I was really digging Utah until I saw the law they want to pass making non citizens able to become police. Other than that, I like Utah for the clean air and open carry.
Drove through it once doing one of my food deliveries when I drove semi.
I mean, non citizens can enlist in the military. I went to several citizenship ceremonies for people who earned it through service. I really don't see this as any different, as long as by "non citizen" they don't mean "illegal."

The military doesn't operate on American soil and they don't have arresting powers.
