Honestly I think it might already be better. Their president was complaining about our fraud, iirc, and he's their equivalent of Bernie Sanders. There are also regions in Mexico that are effectively autonomous zones with basically no crime; everyone owns guns, meaning nobody messes with each other. They banded together and drove the cartels out; that sure as hell sounds like the modern day version of the original American Revolution.
