They didn’t even need to increase. They were throttled BEFORE the generators had to kick into high gear over expectations that they would exceed federal emissions limits if they provided enough energy to cover the inevitable uptick.
The unit production was limited by way of the federal powers act. There was plenty of capacity and they weren’t even allowed to produce at normal levels due to an emergency being declared.
The feds killed people.
