I'm an anti-theist and I support Trump. I think believing in a god is a flaw in logic that can be exploited to cause atrocities. Without belief in a god there would be no reason to fly a plane into a building or deny your own child life-saving medicine or reject a blood transfer.
I think it is everyone's right to believe in what they want, and in retrospect, honestly some people are probably better off being religious if they can't think properly (democrats).
Belief is a human driver and motivator. Overriding logic has its benefits. It can make people do and achieve unbelievable things in life. True, those things can be quite horrific when used as a weapon. Freedom of religion is in the constitution for this fact, and freedom of speech is there to weed out the harm.
I converted to Catholicism a bit over a year ago. I was an atheist for at least 20 years beforehand. One of the things that got me wondering about how crazy things have gotten is when everyone I knew who was a self professed atheist was defending Islam as if their own immortal souls depended on it.
Yeah they are atheists for the wrong reasons. There are "atheists" who reject god and the bible because they think it is sexist or whatever, not because they actually think it is false. Anyone who does any amount of research and has sound logic and principles will condemn Islam more than Christianity, like I do.

They also wouldn't fly planes into buildings if there was an all-powerful God that was so good that He wanted to stop them.
