The Satanic Temple isn't that bad, I think you guys are confusing it with the Church of Satan.
Temple is like an independent party that is rather progressive and a little bit stupid (think DnD people), but i respect that they have a constant push against ANY religion in government. Cause separation of church and state is fucking American since 1600s.

Problem with organization like that is that they exist only as an opposition to something else, rather than promotion of self growth, spiritual life, and so on. This is the social justice approach that is so apparent in leftist circles.
Yeah they were created as a way to protest religion in government. The idea that churches get tax exemptions irregardless how stupid the religion is the point of it. Seriously we need to remove Mormons and scientologies exemptions.
