Russel Brand has been pretty reasonable the last 4 years. I'm a big fan of his because I am an ex-addict and his books and his advocacy for addicts and smarter drug programs was one of the things that helped me along the path of sobriety.

I think Russell is misguided more than malevolent.

God bless you For not Given up From ARKANSAS.

Not me. Not this time.

I gave up many times in the past. So many excuses. It was really quite sad.

But I finally made a stand.

Kicking Heroin is rough. It takes a couple of weeks of twisting and turning and sweating and aching and puking....

I have a day job. But I work with an unnamed sobriety group hoping to pull more people out of the misery I was in. It’s worse than ever. It’s a miracle that I’ve managed to not relapse.

Atleast it would seem that way from the outside but I AM DONE. I’M NOT GOING BACK. No way! No how!

Yeah, Russ 2.0 is different (less funny.unfortunately) than originql Russell, bit I have to give him props. He's been coming around for a long while. The last piece of his conversion will be the realization that God birthed man free, and with that came the freedom to market and participate in markets...and that is ultimately good,. Russell has been coming to the realization that Trump stood for those without the power, against the evil cabal, for a long time.

He’s a huge lefty, but at least he will sit down and have conversations with people that disagree with him. Idc what someone believes, as long as they can be civil, and discuss it somewhat calmly. I disagree with this dude so much, but everything I’ve seen of him, I don’t hate him.

jdog 15 points ago +16 / -1

He has critical thinking and will listen to other people. That's all it takes to be redpilled. The guy had a whole video about how terrible Bill Gates is.

4
Olds77 4 points ago +6 / -2

I listened to him and appreciated some of his viewpoints, but their was some election he got suckered into supporting labour in the UK back before Boris ran (who seems like the biggest od disappointments) and seemed taken advantage of by them as the Tories are often just as bad and there is no good solution. He's flawed, but I respect anyone with an open mind as there's a chance we'll have some reasonable overlap.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +2 / -1

Why are conservatives always so desperate and eager for "reasonable overlap" with liberals?

Where's your self-respect? Or at least some basic sense of reality?

6
Olds77 6 points ago +6 / -0

Same place it was with our forefathers who agreed that reasonable people could disagree reasonably, but perhaps maybe you think they were fools. I have tremendous, kind relatives who did a ton for me that have been Democrats. They're great people who made some bad decisions, but I know plenty of Republicans that voted for Bush and Romney too and people get lost and fuck up.

2
softyieldingasshole 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are you a Boomer? Sound like you live in a non-liberal region too.

3
Olds77 3 points ago +3 / -0

I've lived all over and done shit you only dream of from your incredibly lonely life behind your computer screen and I'm still young, have all my hair and a net worth. I love people and politics isn't the sole factor behind love of music, travel, food and all sorts of stuff and all I want to be around is genuine, openminded, considerate folks. I don't need zealots like you who's whole life is arguing online to tell me how I should live my life different than our forefathers did and aimed to.

Trump won over all sorts of Americans you gave up on and are whining and crying about, but he's not a little bitch like you are. He had his victory cheated from him, but I know thanks to him listening and working for Americans his victory was the biggest yet for any president and it was thanks to Democrats coming over to vote for him and Democrats only won by swapping his votes and massive fraud.

3
softyieldingasshole 3 points ago +4 / -1

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills.

I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces.

You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words.

You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +2 / -1

Really? So you're easily grateful and eager to do a LEFT-RIGHT ALLIANCE with this man simply because... what? Yo saw him listen a couple times? That's all it takes?

Man, our side is pathetic.

1
NerBolanski 1 point ago +1 / -0

Our side hates ethno-nats and race realists who are actually more conservative on some issues and know much better ways to defeat the system and loves Moderates, centrists, or even Liberals who agree with them on one point.

You just described why Our side can never pull out a true conservative movement.Aligning with the Libs would only weaken us and not strengthen our movement. Our movement needs to be strengthened.

1
OhNoes 1 point ago +1 / -0

Russell Brand is widely regarded in the uk as "what a stupid person thinks an intelligent person looks like"

Its hard to imagine a worse ambassador for MAGA

Lefties, of course, think he's a genius

So it might actually work out...

4
Trumper007 [S] 4 points ago +5 / -1

Yeah thats going to be the common cause. LOLOLOL. These times they are a changing.

2
softyieldingasshole 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why are you guys always obsessed with "common cause" and "left-right alliance" and what not?

And why do you never ask yourselves how come Liberals never ever, not even once, are even half as heavily invested as you guys are in finding this "common cause"?

1
NerBolanski 1 point ago +1 / -0

Our side is funny. We hate ethno-nats and race realists who are actually more conservative on some issues and know much better ways to defeat the globalist system and loves Moderates, centrists, or even Liberals who agree with them on one point.

You just described why Our side can never pull out a true conservative or nationalist movement. Aligning with the Libs would only weaken us and not strengthen our movement. Our movement needs to be strengthened.

Trump also tried this but It didn't work.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +1 / -0

Please make a post out of this bro. Like fricking really, all these idiots living in some Boomer Utopia need to get a dose of reality.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +3 / -2

Wow, amazing how much gratitude our side can muster in exchange for a couple breadcrumbs from a progressive.

This is all part of the amazing strategy that is the LEFT-RIGHT ALLIANCE, eh?

Which basically means YOU get on your hands and knees and they toss a couple breadcrumbs and you bark in desperate gratitude?

Saw the video and I thought the same thing. You will be seeing more lefties go red pill. Absence of Trump, As much as I hate it, creates an environment of redpilling lefties and normies.

5
LesboPregnancyScare 5 points ago +6 / -1

Absence of Trump

Of course. All media and dems save a few made Trump out to be the biggest monster possible through all kinds of deceitful ways. Now that the focus is no longer on Trump some people are seeing the media and dems for what they are.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +2 / -1

Lol yes, the favorite conservative fantasy: The Liberal Getting Red-Pilled.

2
NerBolanski 2 points ago +2 / -0

True Conservatives or traditionalists or Nationalists of all sorts; "Our movement needs to be strengthened. We need little immigration and We also need to move the Overton Window"

Normie conservatives/GOP; "I have heard You. We don't need you in our movement. You make us look bad."

a disturbed or recently red-pilled Lefty; "Trump isn't so bad. They lied about him. Biden is doing the same thing as Trump and the Dems like it".

Normie conservatives/GOP; "You see, Liberals can get red-pilled. We just need to purge those bad conservatives and Nationalists to get this."

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +1 / -0

Pleeeeease make a post about this. Please. Please. Lotta naive idjits here need to hear this.

Satan worshipping scumbag trying to lead controlled opposition. Fuck Russell Brand straight to hell.

1
Trumper007 [S] 1 point ago +3 / -2

He's an honest deranged liberal that is questioning everything he has stood for. You have no fucking idea of what you speak.

3
OrangeMenace2020 3 points ago +4 / -1

Fuck Russell Brand now and forever.

3
softyieldingasshole 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good response. We don't need to worship this guy.

Ok mom.

2
softyieldingasshole 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh so now after AOC, Jon Stewart, Lindsey Graham, Matthew McConaughey and a whole other giant list of celebrities, THIS is the new "LEFT-RIGHT ALLIANCE!!" liberal that you guys have found to worship and bootlick and heavily promote on here?

0
LesboPregnancyScare 0 points ago +2 / -2

Would you prefer Tulsi? Lol

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +1 / -0

Oh okay, so in your desperate, addict, dopamine-seeking brain, you mistakenly have set up the belief like a weak-minded person eager to worship leftists that conservatives must always put some or other liberal on a pedestal and worship that person and yearn to become their Friend.

Are you not able to conceive of a structure where um, and this will shock you, NO LIBERAL is put on a pedestal and yearned for and reached out to and there is no desperate bending over for your dumbass "LEFT-RIGHT ALLIANCE"?

Seriously, there is a world beyond stupid GOP Establishment bullshit.

0
LesboPregnancyScare 0 points ago +1 / -1

Settle down Jimmy, I was mocking users here who were talking about how "based" Tulsi was for the 2 points they agreed with her, while ignoring that she is part of the NWO.

1
softyieldingasshole 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ah good.

1
NerBolanski 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is another Uk centrist of this sort. He advocates centrism as the solution to problems and he is continuously given a platform while other are banned.

3
Res-ispa-loquitur 3 points ago +3 / -0

How does this compare to every election year drop? I would assume it goes up and down accordingly...I also assume this is nothing out of the ordinary, unless they do the comparisons...

2
FromSethWithLove 2 points ago +2 / -0

I didn't really see a clear red pill submission. More like he recognizes Trump's populist appeal, which I would expect from a comedian than a regular Hollywood schmuk
