My younger children were around kids of various races from ages 0-5. Military brat life isnt homogenous at all. As soon as school started they learned that they are different and less than equal in many peoples eyes. It's pretty shitty, but the world is harsh. At least they are being eased into the madness instead of getting blindsided by it later.
