Nurses make me sick! Docs n nurses jobs are to take care of SICK PEOPLE! They are NOT heros for doing their JOB! Most nurses I’ve met are wastes of skin except ICU nurses and hospice nurses. Doctors too are idiots. Took 5 docs to find out I didn’t have fibromyalgia but a VITAMIN D deficiency!!!! They are dopes! I stay far away from docs n hospitals!
I'm getting some sad treatment from my MD (like... more so than usual.) I have to have certain prescription meds for survival, and they hold that need hostage to order me to endure blood tests several times a year. But they won't see me in person, because they get paid extra for giving me a hurried phone "consultation" in which they pay me even less attention. I've got serious issues that need in-person examination, but I'm considered "non-essential" because I'm not a potential WuFlu Bonus case. I will certainly go with a more competent/less profit-oriented doctor if/when I find one, no luck so far.

I do facilities maintenance in a large medical university, and most the medical staff i work along side with, feel the same way. But then there are those few that have that God complex, and then turn around and bitch about something in the building not working properly when its supposed too... like, bitch, you don't know the first thing about construction or facilities maintenance! If it weren't for me, y'all would not be able to your job! Fortunately, I haven't seen any tik-tok videos being made.
Custodian, haven't missed a day of work. In fact, now we have to work MORE because we also have to disinfect everything multiple times a day, fog on weekends, etc. As well as cleaning up the masks littered all over outside now.
Right on, pede. I am the IT guy for my office and I am in, pretty much every day. You know who else is in? Facilities staff, cleaning crew -- going in to every office, cleaning up every kitchen and bathroom. But do they ever get described as "heroes?"
Also sanitation, vital infrastructure, and utility and home systems workers. Mandatory OT with no hazard pay or bonuses for production workers and field techs with ever increasing "health and safety" procedures, but cushy home assignments for engineers and office workers or anyone well connected enough to get paid more to stay home after whining about how afraid they are.
At least grocery store workers aren't making tic tok videos....cause if they did it would be considered time clock fraud and they would get fired.
