Well the whole idea of this podcast isn't for people like us - who already know what's up. Its supposed to be a quick 10-minute daily rundown for our friends and family who are willing to listen to our side, but don't have 3 hours a day to listen to Hodge twins, Crowder, Hannity, or previously Rush.
It's meant to be a tiny window into our side - hence the name "The Rest of the Story". So while you and I know Bloomberg and Reuters and bullshit state media, having these sources helps ease the gap for lefties and normies.
Oh yeah! Breadcrumbs is a good term for it. My kid said "Mom you're not red pilling them, you're just giving them red sprinkles" lol and we've laughed about it since.
