They are by far the worst of the woke companies. They mandate this mask bullshit. I keep reading about how these ceos are pushing the vaccine.

How can we push back against these companies. I try not to fly but for work I often don't have a choice.

Until the federal government stops subsidizing them because they can’t stay solvent not much.

I mean the whole stewardess situation in the us predicted their behavior exactly. Every other country they are hot thin biological women. Here they are haggard old battle chrones and limp wrists twinks.

Yes, and since 9/11 they have enjoyed exercising their petty power over passengers. It used to be about service; now it's about control.

I just had to fly yesterday for work. I flew on two planes. Got threatened at least 15 times via intercom messages about mask mandates, that there would be severe punishment for even just wearing improperly, that you won't be able to fly with us again if you violate the federal law (I didn't realize they ever passed a law). That we aren't providing drink services etc because of mask restrictions. It was a horrible experience. Yet apparently I can still consume all the overpriced airport food and get packed like cattle.

I also got my balls felt up and treated like a literal inmate by the TSA (I know how inmates get treated, I was a jailer in my late 20s). Don't even get me started on the TSA.

Oh, and I got to pay 130 dollars because my checked bag was 5 pounds over. Friendly skies my ass lol.

I feel ashamed every time I fly that I'm giving my money to these companies that just mercilessly abuse and humiliate us. But realistically, at some point, most of us have to fly.

They are taxpayer funded commie organizations!

At least Woka- Cola stands on its own legs!

Woka- Cola. I'm stealing that. It's great.

Have at it! Glad You like it.

I also need to do something with "fortified steal"

Change your job, while you still have a choice. We all have to make a daily effort and sacrifice to stop giving these companies our money as much as possible.

Get a medical exception for your mask. Just claim that it gives you and then look up the symptoms for a panic attack and choose what you're comfortable claiming.

5
markolbb 5 points ago +5 / -0

I could be wrong but I don't think you can fly without a mask even with a "medical exemption". They make you agree to all these bullshit terms ahead of time before you even buy a ticket. If anyone has actually flown without a mask on I would love to know the details though!

Chew gum and leave a bag of open pretzels in your lap

I have flown dozens of times without a mask. My employer books my flights, but it's never been an issue.

How? On what airline? I need to know more than just "I do it all the time"

Lots of downvotes on this thread for some reason, pissed off leftist stewardess?

Anyhow, if you have any specific questions, I'll see if I can address them.

markolbb 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I noticed that too, for the record I didn't downvote any of it. Not sure what's up with that, but then again this is the internet.

I've talked about this a bit on here. My employer is not loyal, so most airlines. Essentially, it's an ADA violation and they can either book the ticket and not talk to me, or get sued. The woman who handles bookings, I think she might secretly be a velociraptor, very aggressive.

I've posted a depersonalized doctors not as well, it basically says I have an exception, with no further details.

Essentially, know your rights (ADA) and be assertive.

Ever since they started recirculating air in planes to save fuel, airplanes have been a major vector for infectious diseases. They are trying to avoid lawsuits.

I thought the CEOs were pushing back against the vaccine because it'll likely hurt their profits. Where did you read they wanted vax requirements?

Oh shit. I do remember that story. I thought you meant mandatory for customers.

james7370 [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

It's merely a step towards that. If major airline companies start doing that then imagine that other companies in other industries might start. In the end th result is the same.

I'm hoping they get the pushback on it they deserve. Once upon a time, they had us by the balls with forced school vaccinations. You want to send your kid to school? Take the vaccines. But at this point, some kids haven't been in school so long and have found there's a TON of resources for homeschooling (we homeschool and the number of new families is insane), parents could just say "fuck public school" in a lot of cases. That's the gamble the Dems took by keeping schools closed too long. Parents would have figured it out by now. So I'm hoping many families don't return to school and it takes the wind out of sails for forcing anyone. Employers can try but you can always find other work. I don't say that to be flippant. I know that can be difficult in some situations. But generally, many people could find other work. Enough, I hope, to scare businesses into fucking the fuck right off or lose all their worker bees.

The bad part is they're an oligarchy of transportation. Unless you want to take a 6 weeks to get from NYC to Sydney not by air which is totally unrealistic, you have to fly at some point. They're "private businesses" (with government subsidies) so they can make up basically any rules they want-- and they do. On top of that is having to deal with the TSA and I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it...

Might think about picking some of these "masks" up.. they have ones that looks like a mask but you can breath. Use the large hole ones in protest. Reality is not all of us can refuse to wear a mask 100% of the time. But at leaste you can subvert this tyrany. Do your best. Thats all we can do.
