They termed it the ‘British system’, whereas Hamilton laid the bones for the ‘American system,’ which propelled America into superpower status. Sure, they talk a big game about how we need moar liberty and moar individualism, but that’s it, it’s all talk. While spitting this game at well-meaning Americans, the libertarians have managed to achieve massive corporate and financial deregulation, while somehow never managing to accomplish the same for small businesses and the middle class.
