If Bernie is worth one thing, it was gathering a rabid fanbase that couldn't accept his defeat and went on to expose the any meaningful changes within the party are selected, not elected, even if you have sufficient funding. Of that's barring a Cartel-like hostile takeover.
Yes, Bernie did. But in doing so, his base went off script and sued the DNC, and in the process revealed that the Democrats primary can be rigged for whoever the DNC bosses want, that its members have no real say.
The only way to take over the DNC at this point is to identify and then forcibly remove key leaders and powerbrokers, because they'll damper any real grassroots changes to the party. I don't see that happening unless law enforcement finally becomes too corrupt to function.
