I think part of the issue is that his picks came from The Federalist Society, which is the "go to" for picking conservative judges, but the Kochs are huge donors. Also, the co-founder is not a Trump fan. https://www.foxnews.com/media/steven-calabresi-federalist-society-trump-tweet-election

The federalist society is mostly a bunch of power-hungry elitists. It's really frustrating to be a lawyer who tries hard to make small businesses successful, but the majority of attorneys want to use regulation to "help" society by keeping the plebs in their lane.
