One reason some Catholics didn’t vote for Biden does not equate to Catholics voted for trump therefore Catholics are anti-abortion en masse. Yes certainly there are some Catholics that are orthodox and are based and against abortion but it’s far fewer than it should be. As a group of Christians the Catholics (born and raised, btw) are a pretty pathetic bunch. The evangelicals blow us completely out of the water on almost all social issues and we are supposed to be the ones who are strict in this regard. Roughly 50% of Catholics are a-okay with gay marriage, with abortion, with socialism. Those numbers are way lower among evangelicals. So please spare me the Catholics are based bs. Some small proportion of Catholics might be, the ones going to latin mass every Sunday, but the rest are embarrassing.
