I don't think people realize just how bad things really are.
Then our leaders are cowards and not worthy to lead us.
During WW2 people joined the French Resistance knowing full well the Germans would execute 10 French civilians for every German soldier killed.
We need Great Men willing to do what they believe is right, no matter the consequences.

Because the people were starving. The Fascists are smarter this time. They control everyone, while making sure everyone has enough to keep them compliant. We know things are bad in a theoretical sense, but the reality is that no one is starving, people have magic technology, and actual day-to-day life isn't bad.
Why don't they just come out and said "my family has been threatened someone is trying to influence the court's decision"
