The only reason we ended up with ACB in particular is she was a concession to the GOPe women senators (Romney, Collins, Murkowski) to get them to vote for replacing RBG; Collins even ended up voting NO. If the GOP were truly conservative and America First, when RBG died, they would have pushed through a young nominee with the principles of Scalia.
Trump had a great opportunity to pivot the court HARD to the right, but the spineless bitches in the GOPe would never confirm as such. On the other hand, when the Democrats get the opportunity, they won't hesitate to shift the court hard left.
