It reminds me of the illegal immigration debate surrounding the wall. Unless one issue can completely fix a problem no issue will be considered. If the wall doesn't stop 100% of illegal immigration it's not worth doing. So they cheat 100 different ways and won't look at any particular problem with the election because that problem wouldn't overturn the results of the election.
