Under what grounds? I had a cop show up at my house and try to bully me into flying my flag "right". I basically told him to fuck off and there was nothing he could do about it.
Our CC&Rs require that we follow the flag code. "The American flag should never be displayed upside down, “except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property,”. Unless I could prove 'danger to life or property', I was going back to Superior Court as the judge decision granted them an injunction to stop me from doing anything contrary to the CC&Rs regarding the flag. An that statement is in the Regulation. The courts suck but the lawyers suck money even faster. I will get even but I will pick my battles.
So you should build a US flag out of non flammable material and put it in the middle of a fire pit and burn it 24 / 7 in protest. Since burning the flag is acceptable protest.
