In NJ today the democrats are literally putting forth a Tots for Pot bill:
If you sell tobacco products to a 20 year old you get hit with a petty disorderly charge, a minimum of a $500 fine for the first offense and are in jeopardy of having your business license revoked for 3 years.
If you sell an ounce of pot or a keg to an 8 year old you only face a $250 fine for the first offense.
If your 12 year old child gets caught smoking pot and drinking a 6 pack in your local park, the local police may only take their name and address and send them on their way and they are prohibited from notifying the minor's parents.
Local police no longer have the ability or authority to break up underage drinking or pot parties.
If your child is in a car that gets pulled over that smells like a Cheech & Chong film the local police have no right to search the car.
NJ is literally turning into a Season 11 of Shameless. #insanity.
