My 2 cents worth. Jeep, Ford and GM are America last companies. Toyota is Japan first, America second. If I lived in the USA, I'd buy a Japanese car brand actually made in America by American workers.
Go to Texas and see how many people live their toyota tacomas and tundras. They build them there, and since there's no union up charging everything and getting rich, you're paying for quality. That's why toyotas have such high resale value, and are famously reliable. I used to work as a service writer for ford and fca, they have lots of problems
