No, no he's not. I want one realistic answer as to how this could be true. Is it referring to physical strength? Because I just put up 275x5 today at 185 and I jerk it all the time.
Spiritual mumbo jumbo strength? As in, can't be accurately quantified or even described? My guess.
Believe it or not I'm open minded to this, just haven't seen jack showing it to be true.
There's a book called your brain on porn that says concentration levels and focus improved dramatically after giving up porn. It also has the addiction level of a drug.
I'm sure there's a lot else it says backed by science/studies but those are the main ones.
Needless to say my concentration and focus are fucked!!
I'd rather just cold Turkey it and see how I feel. One question, can I still jack off and have sex? Because if I gotta give up that I'm just taking adderall lol
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
James 1:12 (KJV)
Thanks, I'm not religious but I appreciate you sharing that. Assuming it were a godly inspired quote, where do we draw the line? Temptation is vague... I see temptation as me wanting to do things I shouldn't. Still have no reason to assume porn is something I shouldn't "do," so I'm not sure I even need to consider it temptation... idk if I'm making sense, but ya, not really my shebang so even if Jesus straight up said "DONT JERK IT TO PORN YOU ANIMAL" it wouldn't influence me.
I’m not religious either, but am working on becoming more so. I think think it’s all a balance, temptation included. I view as giving in to selfish desires rather than giving to others. Of course, nothing is wrong with attending to our own wants but there is often a point reached at which temptation controls us more than we can control it. Sometimes not giving in to temptation brings more pleasure than not. Bringing it back to the fapping issue, I do it like the rest of you. But have recently experimented with not doing it at all for about a month and my energy level and relationship with my wife have improved. I guess I pay attention to her more. So there is something to it.

Falls into the “spiritual mumbo jumbo” category.
