…4The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife. 5Do not deprive each other, except by mutual consent and for a time, so you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again, so that Satan will not tempt you through your lack of self-control. 6I say this as a concession, not as a command.…

You can't force someone to have sex with you because "it's their job". That's called rape and that's where I stand on the matter.

The bible disagrees.

1 Corinthians 7:5 says that the husband doesn't have authority over his own body but the wife and vice versa. Putting your wife/husband first over yourself will lead to a long happy marriage.

US law agrees with you and our divorce rate in this country is sky high.

If I were married and my husband told me it was my job to lay down and let him fuck me, that would lead to a divorce extremely quickly. A lot faster than other reasons people get divorced actually.

Don't get married if you won't attend to your future husbands needs.

You have to put your spouse before yourself or your marriage is doomed to fail.

What you replied back with is the reason divorce is so prevalent in this country because marriage vows don't mean anything anymore.

Its literally in the traditional marriage vows.

"...To have and to hold.."

That's what you are signing up for. And if the person who wants to have you disgusts you to the point that having sex with him leads to thoughts of divorce.....you married the wrong man.
