how much snow is sitting on top of the space station steve? this is what always has pissed me off about the green energy fags . they want us to use solar ok fine. i would love to be able to use solar but where i live we sometimes get 3 ft of snow. the snow blows in and keep on coming down for 2-3 days at a time . we get like 6 hours of daylight mid winter ,its just not practical for where i am at. if they had battery capacity that lets you store weeks of energy it migh work but we are not there yet. solar might work great for you if you live in a flat desert area but not in the mountains and the trees and the snow
May I be the first to point out there is no snow in space, versus land-based panels in winter.
I could be polite and say that Huffman has a flawed model, but it's much more emotionally satisfying to call him a moron.
So -454F is basically absolute zero, which is not space. I work on space hardware and the coldest we go is -70C (-158F) and that is an extreme low. Also the solar panels in space still work off light like they would on earth. This guy is not just a moron, but so hopelessly ill-informed and pompous only God can help him without google.
Lets just move Texas to space shall we, then they wouldn't have to deal with all that pesky snow, ice, water, wind, blizzards, atmosphere or atmospheric pressure and we now know that specially designed to work in fucking space solar panels work at -450
Fucking genius, why didn't we think of this before the once in a century freak storm that took everyone by surprise!!!

Solar panels don't care about Temperature, they care about strength of the sun
AFAIK they work better in the cold. But the left isn't getting shamed enough for politicizing disasters.
Shame this fucking fool at every appearance. He owns every death.
They work better in an environment where there's no atmosphere absorbing and deflecting most of the UV radiation.
Well yes that makes sense. They do in fact better in the cold but it’s completely fucking irrelevant.
This guy hopes people die if it helps his politics.
No trees,No snow,no clouds, only has to run a space station not an entire city.
Yeah what's the weather like up there? Overcast or sunny?
Maybe because they were built with specifications to work in those conditions?

Let's get Scott a ride on the very first Solar Powered GND Spaceship.
DEFUND NATURE!
he also forgets the lack of atmosphere and the damn near 0% humidity...
