5 seconds of thought would show that a bombing would have prevented the entering of congress, and would have cancelled all events and overshadowed them completely. That's when using the claim that the FBI made, that the bombs were supposed to go off the night before. In the situation where they say that's wrong, then the bombs would have been likely to hurt the people at the Trump rally who went inside. Either way you want to say the bombs were supposed to work, it was against the interests and/or health of the alleged rioters.
