The “gay frogs” thing was obviously a joke, an exaggeration, but even the first time I heard Alex Jones say it, it wasn’t crazy to me. Before that, they’d done studies demonstrating that increased estrogen from widespread birth control usage stay in the treated wastewater that’s released into rivers was causing sexual dysfunction problems in fish.
It might have been a meme, but it’s never been not true.
I honestly think that in 50 years, we’ll look back at plastics being used for food storage/prep/consumption the same way we look at lead. Even BPA-free contain endocrine disrupters. And you can’t fucking get away from the shit, because it’s used in almost every level of food manufacturing.
It’s not a joke. Chemicals in the water where turning the frogs gay. When you leave out the sources/context, and just show Jones screaming “they’re turning the frogs gay!”, it looks crazy and laughable. If you have a hippy looking chick cry, declare science and say capitalism is killing the frogs then people listen.

It was confirmed by a Berkley Professor. Atrazine.
