I work in a school in rural Florida so masks have been an amazing sociological study for my department. The black kids wear chinstraps, they're supposed to fix it but they've learned that our wing is a "safe space" to use a lefty term. The country kids are 1/2 chinstraps and 1/2 complying maliciously. There's a minority of about 20% that wear it but hate it, however they're afraid they'll get in trouble. Then the Branch Covidians, they wear whatever Saint Fauci (MBUH) says to wear. It's nice to see how my area would play out and that I'm in the majority of thought, but it's sad how these parents ruin their kids. For me, I take a lot of joy in saying "I haven't really seen compliance issues with kids) while in the department chair meetings. The upper face expression of the commies (the majority of teachers, shocking) as I wear a completely useless face shield, is sustaining me through this trying time.
