I am only venturing to guess that SCOTUS wants the states to solve voter fraud issues internally. Obviously.... pretty fucking gay shit to just say that it's "moot".

They should have at least brought the case to a full hearing before SCOTUS, and at worst just dismiss the case. At least it would have gotten exposure and put the state legislatures heels to the fire.
