I played a lot of Monopoly as a kid. The variant I played the most was Star Wars Monopoly.
It's still not a real great game. Nearly every game almost ends in a fist fight. Settlers of Catan has become my go-to board game, or if we want to play something quick & simple we play the card game Exploding Kittens.
I saw that one in Target before the outcry and they were all pulled off the shelves. Had I known, I would have bought their entire supply . . .people were paying stupid amounts of money for them for a while.

Monopoly is a terrible game. Yet they vomit our new versions every other year and people still buy it. Kinda like Democrats.
