Not to be a party pooper but there are several problems with that, the biggest problem is that the deep state and K Street becomes the defacto legislators because those people don't have term limits. They hang around for decades in the background where very few of us know their names and operations. And we can't vote them out..
I grant that we already have this problem. My point is that mere term limits for congress won't be the solution we desire.
Sorry, not trying to take a dump on you. It is just that this is a difficult problem. :-/
Campaigning is ineligible for donations, or gifts. Special interest groups, are barred by federal law from funding, gifting, or supporting a political candidate. (eg, a Union, or business can't give money, donations, or financial support for a candidate or political group. This includes material support, such as cars, supplies, or other gifts of material value. (eg, Jeep having their cars at Biden "Rallies"))
All public servants of every office can be removed by public vote, including Federal offices, and agents. (We'll need to work out the details, but regardless, the public should be allowed to vote out any state or federal employee of any position or office for any reason.)
Obviously, the uniparty won't let the above happen, these are just ideals we need to get in place after we drive them out and reinstall a constitutional republic order again. Also, Voting rights should only be give to certain people who'll have a need to vote. Such as, Land owners, Home Owners, Business Owners. Dose it "Disenfranchise" certain voters? Yeah, so what, it removes people who vote for handouts, and "Free" shit, it removes people who'll constantly vote against their own interests because they don't want to work.
I have an alternative proposal that I think would be far easier to implement. Legislator salary and net worth is tied to the bottom 30% of constituents annual income and or net worth. AND it can go negative in an inflationary environment.
I imagine our world would be radically different if that were the paradigm.
Lol you think you can take on King George? Yes I do.

Term limits on congress.
