I asked the same question. I work in a hospital and they just toss the masks in a trash can with a push in lid. When you push the lid in to toss out trash, you touch the nasty biohazard masks that previous nurses, doctors, patients, techs, just tossed out like normal garbage. If it's so deadly, why is this the case? Such BS.
