For some reason, I’ve begun to hate teachers and nurses over the last year.

Not sure why?

For some reason, I've begun to hate almost everybody over the last year.

Not sure why?

So sick of the term "hero". Unless you have given your fucking life in a direct action to save another, you aren't worthy of the term.

This. Oh no you ran around a hospital with a clipboard and took people’s vitals while a virus was spreading. When viruses are ALWAYS spreading, especially in hospitals. You want a cookie for doing the job you chose to take?

heroes are brave

bravery only exists in the presence of danger

a virus with 99.9% survival rate is not dangerous

no one facing wuhan is brave.

imagine what that makes someone hiding from wuhan.

There's one thing that truly makes a hero a hero: humility.

When most people think about modern day heroes they think of folks like police, firefighters, military, etc. You think those firefighters who went into the towers on 9/11 and never came out would've bitched on twitter about how scary it was and how you should acknowledge them? Nope. They were just doing their job. You think the guys fighting in WW2, or even in the middle east have to have a daily fill of recognition before they went and fought/bled/died? Nope, they were doing their jobs.

Real heroes don't need the fanfare, even if they do get it. They don't need praise and adulation, even if it's showered upon them. They hunker down, do their job, and that's the end of it.

Contrast that with the wannabe "heroes" who are really nothing more than egotistical, attention-seeking whores, desperate for their 5 minutes of fame, and you can easily see through the facade.

Never saw one. Thank God. Teachers have disgusted me during this fake hoax. How they don't stand up and protest this mask wearing for kids.
