I don't think this is legal .. as in, legal considering employment law.
It's one thing to fire for political opinions
.. and it's another to fire someone and make a video of it and put it online thereby giving proof.
Skilled lawyers can spin this up so quick that this guy's head would spin ....
It will go by state law, but can be twisted and turned to show that it was a discrimination based firing....
Either case, I wouldn't be surprised if that guy who was fired finds a lawyer and sues him based on the video
I mean we all know big tech fires people for being conservative all the time, but they never come out and admit to it directly and give out proof saying YES that person was fired for being a Trump supporter. Big tech will always curb the words and wrap the reason into something else to make it legal and prevent having to deal with lawsuits....
This guy didn't do that, he was blunt and gave proof welcoming lawsuits....
