Trust me, it's not your autism or the differences in ways your perceive things. How you feel is how A LOT of us feel. I hear it all the time from people I know who see the world for what it is.

Find like-minded people, start a business, create your own reality within the system, never submit to the system. Purpose might never come but I'm 32yo and I'd say a 21yos purpose should be to maximize your skills/body and self-improvement. Read philosophy/history/economics/politics/military/business books, go to the gym 4 days a week, join an MMA class, learn a skill like programming, perhaps also complete an undergrad degree, learn to hunt, cook, fish, camp, boat, outdoor stuff. Travel and gain some perspective. That should be your 20s. Don't worry about purpose so much. Just work on self-improvement.

When you hit late 20s start looking for a wife. Don't do it before then too much. Like if it happens, then it happens but don't let this consume your focus. Make family your purpoe IMO. Tough to find the right woman in today's society. Look into Christianity and religion. It has more value than you likely suspect at your age given the way you were probably raised.

Just remember, you aren't alone in how you think and feel. Most people think and feel that way. Life is about navigating this. Don't dwell on it too much. Find a way to keep driving forward.

My son is a conservative with autism and about your age. You have more people on your side that you could ever know.

Go to the library and try to find something that interests you. If you are interested in languages, radio.garden is a great site to discover the world

23 yr old here. I have autism as well. Lot of people with autism have it EXTREMELY hard during this time for their own reasons, especially sensory related.

I have been unemployed for a year & have been completely discouraged to seek a job because of ever-changing CDC guidelines (e.g. vaccine after vaccine after the next) and mask wearing (this not as much but it's the burdensome mountain of "new rules" that make me have no faith in myself, a future, or success).

Conservativism is just conserving what has been built, the traditional wisdom that's been passed down, and achievements we've made as a species/society. That's really all there is to it.

Not really sure how autism comes into play but makes me think... "What do you call a Liberal with Autism?...aborted."

This world needs you! You see things normies don’t. Prolly 1/2 of NASA is filled with people on the spectrum. Watch the movie Temple for an amazing example of giftedness. https://youtu.be/YeWks6cgJ-k

Hey, I'm also 21 with aspergers. Questions:

Do you have a car?

Do you have at least one friend who you can trust and speak your political beliefs to?

College? If so, is it a major where you have to work in industry and not academia?

Single? (It's okay to answer no, I'm also single)

Please get back to me so I may have a conversation with you about your situation. I'd be most happy to reach out and help.

Get off social media if it is dragging you down. By the way, being alive for other people's sake is a huge part of life. The trick is finding others in your life who are worth it.
