Over a year ago now when the Chynah virus hit I and (any thinking person) did the reading and research. It didn't take long to figure out that prevention was a major factor for just being able to ignore the bug.
Since I live in NYC I knew this would be a hot spot. So in February or March once I had a handle on things I actively told my friends and colleagues, many of whom happen to be black that they had to start taking D3 supplements. And I told them why they had to. In addition whether they were fat or not I told them (as delicately as possible) that obesity was a major risk factor (in general).
I did what I could to get the word out but I never once did I hear any of them say "oh yeah the media told me this also", and I made thea point to ask about that.
So this is yet another thing where you see/learn that the metropolitan egalitarian Democratic Party media cares much more about keeping people on their political plantation by using fear and demagoguery than caring enough about them to explain a simple and obvious truth that might save their lives.
