I had eight USPS packages coming to me last week from unique vendors from all over the country. New York, Oregon, Missouri, Idaho, California....

Not one of these packages moved an inch all week. Not sure how a storm in Texas stopped packages in New York, Cali, and Idaho from shipping.

I didn't pick the shipping company, so I had no control on that. I'm still waiting for 4 of those packages. 2 still haven't moved an inch since last Monday.

USPS is being used as a political tool right now, keep an eye on it

Me too! Lol mine actually came from Texas but yeah it was 8 days late on a 2 day delivery.

Im curious do they give refunds to the shipper when this shit happens?

That was rhetorical.

Well, at least you know where they are. They won't even tell me where mine are.

I've noticed since around election time that every time I'd order something, I'd get a shipping notification, see it leave its origin, then stop at some city and SIT THERE for A WEEK.

However, EVERY time my wife orders something, it arrives in 2-3 days max. We could both order shit from Scamazon at the same time and she will have hers before the week's over and mine will take 2 weeks.

Now I obviously can't prove this, but I have to wonder if my name is on some list of theirs as a Trump supporter. I'm on those lists everyone's making since I've donated. My wife, however, is not. In my imagination, the USPS people take my package, look at the name and go "nope this guy's a Trumper" and throw it over their shoulder into a back corner. lol

My favorite one was when the tracking showed the parcel ON the delivery vehicle in my city, ready to be delivered. Then for 4 days after, it just kept saying "no attempt made" and it was back on the vehicle the next day, over and over again.

Yup, shipped out a priority package on the 8th and no tracking updates.

Christmas cards were delivered three weeks after Christmas. But the USPS is above reproach for their handling of mail in votes...

I've been in management in the USPS for 8 years now. I've worked in 3 different districts throughout the US. I've never seen widespread mail delays on purpose. You lose your job if you delay mail. The majority of other employees I speak with are Trump supporters. Your parcels are moving slow due to the volume of increased parcel mailings and our infrastructure not being designed to handle it, nor do we have the staffing needed to process it all. Also this blizzard is not helping things. Please stop spouting out bullshit.

You are an awful tiny sample to declare USPS totally corruption free..... that’s called spotlighting when you take the focus on you and spread it to literally the entire nation. USPS is absolutely fucked right now and absolutely fucked the election. Sorry you’re working for a politicized branch of the government but you saying “well me a muh district are great so everything in the world is ship shape” is literally the lowest common denominator thinking.

Ive worked in districts across the country moron. You're talking about your one amazon package being delayed.

"there's an increased volume of parcels that is delaying your packages by nearly a week"

"the USPS was completely ready and capable of dealing with an unprecedented volume of mail-in ballots and suffered no delays"

Can you see why I'm calling bullshit, retard?

I can't tell if you're a troll or actually retarded. The USPS was never equipped to handle your amazon parcels. The infrastructure to handle letters has always been around. Maybe your focus your retard energy on something productive. Retard.

That's why they were forcing employees to accept and process mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania multiple days after the deadline, right? Because they were totally equipped to handle an unprecedented number of ballots, but also literally can't get a truck to drive thirty minutes.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE USPS’ ability to deliver packages in 1 day! It’s outrageous that you would even question how a package can be delivered before it is sent!

funwithguitars 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, 18 days for a pkg from Missouri to Michigan, usually 2 to 3 days...

Picking up 100k ballots from one place and dropping them to another isn’t that hard

Me too! I’ve been waiting for a birthday present for my hubby. Ordered it February 2. His birthday was the 16th, got a notice yesterday the package is still delayed due to usps fuckery.

Amazon packages? What zipcode are you?

2
FuckRedditMAGAMAGA [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, from eBay sellers, mostly. I also had a parcel sit in San Francisco (like a half hour drive) for two business days before being sent on its way

Im in the same boat except it's closer to 10 packages. Also they've completely lost 3 of my packages in the past two weeks and they don't seem to care. The lady at the counter told me "they'll turn up" and "it's the weather and covid" causing all the problems." Im switching to UPS and DHL.

From my experience, the USPS doesnt screw around, they get their job done.

Harsh_Truth 3 points ago +3 / -0

That’s great. You are clearly not all 400.000 USPS employees. It would clearly seem they aren’t getting the job done despite all the warm feels you have for your district. It’s tiny minded thinking like this that got conservatives where we are at “well my tiny little post office of 500 people ran swimmingly so ALL of USPS therefore must run swimmingly! Problem solved men, another lunch break for all!”
