The ten stages of genocide

1. Classification: Groups in a position of power will categorize people according to ethnicity, race, religion or nationality employing an us versus them mentality.

2. Symbolisation: People are identified as Jews, Roma or Tutsis, etc., and made to stand out from others with certain colours or symbolic articles of clothing.

3. Discrimination: A dominant group uses laws, customs, and political power to deny the rights of other groups. The powerless group may not be granted full civil rights or even citizenship.

4. Dehumanization: The diminished value of the discriminated group is communicated through propaganda. Parallels are drawn with animals, insects or diseases.

5. Orginization: A state, its army or militia design genocidal killing plans.

6. Polarisation: Propaganda is employed to amplify the differences between groups. Interactions between groups are prohibited, and the moderate members of the group in power are killed.

7. Preparation: The victims are identified, separated and forced to wear symbols. Deportations, isolation and forcible starvation. Death lists are drawn up.

8. Persecution: Victims are identified and isolated based on their ethnic or religious identity. Death lists are drawn up. In state sponsored genocides, members of victim groups may be forced to wear identifying symbols. Their property is often expropriated.

9. Extermination: The massacres begin. The perpetrators see their actions as “extermination” since they do not consider their victims to be entirely human.

10. Denial: The perpetrators of the genocide deny having committed their crimes. Victims are often blamed. Evidence is hidden and witnesses are intimidated.

It seems to be that we're too comfortable in our luxuries to make a move. We all want to fight back, but we're afraid of losing. But if we continue down this path, letting them take us over inch by inch, we'll have nothing to preserve. We have got to organize...recognize a common enemy and know how to strike.

“Ordinary Men” by Christopher R. Browning is another great book that illustrates this.

Follows German Reserve Battalion 101. Shows how men can be slowly driven to commit atrocities if you just keep pushing them a little bit at a time.

From being physically sick by what they were doing to dragging naked, pregnant, women into a field and shooting them in the back of the head without flinching. If memory serves those men didn’t even think they did anything wrong. Horrifying book. 😔

I had another thought that deserves its own comment. I liked the way Jordan Peterson put it as well. Steal this if you want an easy to understand method of explaining this to your normie friends/family:

If I wanted to push you down a path you never would go, and I was sophisticated about it. I would push you right up to the point where you would object. Then I would stop, and wait for you to calm down. Then I would do it again. Push right up to the point where you object. Then I’d go back to waiting until you calm down. I could keep doing this, and chipping away at your desire to resist. Until one day you realize that you have no idea how you got to where you are. That is my best recollection of how he put it. Having things like this pointed out to me by Peterson was a huge, huge factor in my red pilling. I’m fortunate he’s Canadian. I paid no attention to news from there at the time. If I had seen the manufactured outrage around him before I stumbled onto him browsing JRE podcasts I’d likely still be a self loathing Leftie. If I’d even still be alive at all.
