Saying that the case is moot is ironic as hell. It's not like the case is about the legitimacy of the election or anything.

I saw something like this coming the first week or two after the election, when they announced court dates that were a month or so down the road. Why would they not want to get to the bottom of such an important matter as quickly as possible?

I figured they would delay as much as possible and try to use deadlines as a reason for dismissing the case(s). Well, calling the nature of the case 'moot' is not much different than saying "too late".

Sorry, but deadlines go out the window when you cheat an election. Whatever they got on these people to blackmail them into wiping their asses with the Constitution, I 'd like to know. But, it can't be worse than the punishment for being a traitor.
