Mike Pence did NOT betray Trump. This is such a crazy opinion on here. He was somewhat of a coward (he should have made claims about all the BS going and I think he could have maybe even gone with Ted Cruz’s idea) but he had to accept the votes.
It’s insane to think that any VP can just not accept votes. That’s really what you want to happen in the future? So any Democrat VP in the future can say “nope I’m not accepting this”
Trump should have called in the military and stopped this bullshit from happening to begin with. This isn’t all on Pence’s shoulders.
Calling in the military would be fucking terrible. That's literally what we have in DC right now. Biden has militarized the capitol. No nation becomes better or more just after military intervention. It would have been the end of America (and we are dangerously close right now with Biden).
He could have made a statement that he wanted the constitutional process to play out, despite whatever personal reservations he had. He could have encouraged the investigation Cruz wanted. He could have done several things, and at the very least, pushed it back to the House due to the challenges. He had things he could have done legally and constitutionally and he did not.
I agree, he couldn't have just thrown out the votes. That would be a PR disaster. But he did turn his back on Trump and America.
Where those fools get that idea from is fucking beyond me and insane.
It is actually angering. These people saying that are dumb as fuck. Go listen to Q more.
Counter point. Mike Pence. Absolutely nobody saw that coming.
I agree on Crowder though. He’s solid.
