The real war was to the east, with the soviet commies. Perhaps our presence in the south pacific with the Japanese was to subdue them from invading communist China. We utterly destroyed Germany and Japan so that the massive Eurasian continent could remain infected with communism for decades to come. Then they built a fucking wall in 1961 to keep the peasants inside the tyranny. International capitalism was there to benefit post war.
