Yes, I do realize that. My family's taxes are funding it too. The people who I heard bitching were working class -- had their hours slashed thanks to this "pandemic" (or had their jobs lost). So, the people this was supposedly for...still hadn't received it.
They got their first stimulus on time, but the second round got held up...and then, you know, Joe's promises. The right or wrong of the stimulus is another topic, but if people are going to have their jobs fucked with and then they're supposed to get that stimulus and don't...probably shouldn't jack them. (and we both know who is responsible for the said jacking with)
I'm not in a state that's pro-employment. And I'm in a part of that state that is even more overlooked than the rest of said state. The area was picking up 2-3 years ago...it's back to snafu now.
Some people didn't even get the 600...because the IRS fucked up their payments, told them they'd get their 600 "some time in March, maybe April".
