I stand corrected, but for me, my introduction was the Graphic Novel and then Zach Snyder's stunning movie adaptation. Did you dig it? you seem to be an authority on the subject of anything Watchmen.
I'm not nor do I claim to be an authority on it, I just remember it happening. Thats how old I am. I also remember reading (and buying) the dark knight returns.
And yes, the movie is great and is one of the few that actually does justice to the original comic. I was an avid comic collector from the late 70's to the early 90's.
At one point I had 3000 of them. Unfortunately many were stolen out of my shed when I drank one night and forgot to lock it up. I still have maybe ... 200? left.
