Americans do not seem to recognize what is happening here. The migrant children were sent by their parents with instructions to not reveal their parents whereabouts. The children are then either sent to live with relatives in the States or are taken into care. Once they age out of care and they are given US citizenship, they conveniently contact their family in Mexico or wherever, and then they are free to bring in their family and extended family as immigrants into the USA. Quite ingenious actually.
