It says ie Judges should be elected, but does it say WHO runs the election? Ie if we just held our own election, and appointed a Judge, could that judge not start taking cases and "us" administer law?

Are you saying that we need a system of laws that everybody can understand?
I do like your idea too... the idea that only a Supreme Court justice can read the constitution or any other law is OFFENSIVE.... laws should ONLY be written so that some one of reasonable intelligence can understand... and since our schools have done such a terrible job, that’s a pretty low standard!
I think we all understand election law and the Bill of Rights better than our current SCOTUS.
No more like LAWYER ANTI-TRUST... lawyers should NOT be allowed to hold key power positions in so many different critical jobs!
