It would be simpler just to arrest Mayor Bowser. Besides DC cannot become a state per the Constitution. Why would we need a CIC for swamp?

We don’t. But the swamp has proven the constitution to be irrelevant.

Taxes were invented by a white man

Actually we should try this. If progressive income taxes were in any way brought into being by ANYONE who could be #Cancelled or if anyone between the Civil War and Civil Rights Eras called it out for being racist, we should bring those callouts back into the public spotlight.

You know... this might actually be something here. I’m just gonna start saying income taxes are racist.

Revenue Act of 1862, signed into law by President Lincoln. Intended/main purpose was to pay for the North's prosecution of the Civil War.

The supreme law of the State is self-preservation at any cost. And since all States, ever since they came to exist upon the earth, have been condemned to perpetual struggle — a struggle against their own populations, whom they oppress and ruin, a struggle against all foreign States, every one of which can be strong only if the others are weak — and since the States cannot hold their own in this struggle unless they constantly keep on augmenting their power against their own subjects as well as against the neighborhood States — it follows that the supreme law of the State is the augmentation of its power to the detriment of internal liberty and external justice.

The ability to call up armed troops to depose a sitting president is likely the answer.

They've outsourced US wars for corporations overseas, now they want to do it here too. Success breeds success.

And they just passed the ok for cops to not need to be citizens? So - 1 & 2 - we've been set up for outsourced jackboots to be on US soil, ruling in open conflict with the citizens.
