After 13 years on FakeBook, I spent hours removing EVERY picture, comment, post possible and Deleted the account 11 days ago.
While it was nice to keep in touch with old friends and classmates, only the patriotic ones matter and we still keep in touch Via regular Email. The rest can go into the dustbin of memory - who cares!
Best choice you can make - DO IT! No Matter how hard it is, DO IT!
I have a friend who cancelled her account a couple of years ago. She still shows up as a user. It is impossible to delete. Same as twitter. I have been banned 3 times on twitter and they suspend the account - keeps their figures looking good. I now use Gab and it is excellent.
